Description
ICRISAT's integrated watershed management technology has changed the entire panorama of Kothapally from grey to green. Now farmers here have abundant water, can harvest up to 4 tons of grains per hectare from drylands, grow high-value vegetables and flowers during postrainy and summer seasons, with about 60% reduction in soil and water loss, leading to a food secure and prosperous life.
